So, it’s been a while since I’ve written. The last you heard of me, I was heading to Santa Fe, NM. Now, I’ve been here almost three months, working at a very challenging job. A line Supervisor for a new Resort, in an environment I’m not used to.
The advantage is the ready-made Kitchen Culture. Those of us who are veterans know what I mean. I’m working for some talented and knowledgeable chefs. However, the field of passionate employees in this region is limiting. There are a few who have stuck it out, but I’m afraid I’ve rarely seen this sort of lack of passion for what we do in our chosen profession.
I’m going to work on publishing some more recipes and updating this blog more often. I’ve been physically and mentally tired with all the challenges I’ve faced. And there is a recurring health problem I hope to rectify soon.
